At PM Coston Publishing LLC, we want every author to feel confident when working with our team. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled throughout the different stages of a publishing project.
Deposits secure your project slot and cover the initial planning and manuscript assessment. Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel before any work has begun. Once editorial or design work has started, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
If you cancel your project after editing has started but before the editing process is complete, you will be charged for the work completed up to the date of cancellation, based on the pages or words edited. Any remaining portion of prepaid fees will be refunded.
Design fees become non-refundable once concept drafts have been delivered, as the creative work for your project has already begun. If you cancel before any design concepts have been delivered, the design fees paid will be refunded in full.
Once your book has been submitted to a retail or distribution platform, publishing fees are non-refundable because the processing completed through third-party platforms cannot be reversed.
Marketing services that have already been carried out are non-refundable. This includes advertising spend, press outreach that has been sent, and campaigns that have already been launched. Any unspent or unscheduled portion of a marketing package may be refunded upon cancellation.

Please include your project name and the reason for your refund request. Our team will review the current status of your project and respond within 5 business days with a refund determination based on the work completed.
Once a refund has been approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
